About Forest Studio
Forest Studio has been a long-standing vision among members of the FORM group at ETH Zurich, a shared aspiration to better capture the complexity of forest dynamics and management under changing climate and disturbance regimes.
In March 2025, this vision took its first concrete steps with the launch of the Forest Studio Edu initiative, developed to support the Landscape-Level Forest Management course at ETH Zurich. What began as an educational prototype has already started evolving into a broader platform — one that aims to bridge science, teaching, and practice through interactive modeling and exploration tools.
We’re only at the beginning, but the path ahead is clear and exciting: Forest Studio will continue to grow as a space for innovation, collaboration, and deeper understanding of how forests respond and adapt in a changing world.
